AeroTechLog adds peer-to-peer sync for offline operations

AeroTechLog now supports direct iPad-to-iPad synchronisation, enabling paperless tech log operations in remote airfields and high-security environments with no internet connectivity.

Why it matters

Many operators use AeroTechLog at remote outstations, military aprons, or high-security facilities where internet access is restricted or unavailable. Peer-to-peer sync removes the last barrier to fully paperless operations in these environments.

How it works

Devices on the same local network - or in direct Wi-Fi proximity - can exchange tech log entries, MEL items, and defect records in real time without going through the cloud. All data is end-to-end encrypted, and the sync engine resolves conflicts automatically using the same deterministic rules as the full cloud sync.

Availability

Peer-to-peer sync is available in AeroTechLog v3.4 and above. Existing subscribers can update via the standard release channel. Contact our support team for enterprise rollout guidance.
